Conforming loan limits are increasing from $424,100 to $453,100 and High Balance Conforming Loan Limits for the Metro Denver Area are increasing from $493,350 to $529,000 effective for loans originated after January 1, 2018.

The Fed looks at this every year.  Most of the Denver area is jumping from $493,350 UP to $529,000.  Boulder is all the way up to $578K! This will make it easier for home buyers at higher price points by having the ability to avoid jumbo loans equating to easier qualifying, less down, etc.

FHA and VA will be affected positively as well.
